Level: Manager/Senior Manager (depending on relevance of experience and aptitude)

Experience Essential
- 4 to 8 yrs
- Minimum 4yrs of BD experience in b2b engagements in IT/ITES/consulting space
- Proven ability in engaging, interacting and building relationship with senior client executives for business opportunities
- Proven ability in winning mid-size deals ($150K-$1mn) and large deals (>$1mn)
- At-least 2yrs in performing an “Hunting” role and a definite exposure to a “farmer” role

Desirable but not a constraint
- Exposure to Pre-Sales for software products in BPM, BI, ERP (SAS, SAP, Teradata, Oracle), high end ITES (KPO, Analytics) or Consulting services
- Consultative selling experience

Education: Preferably top 10 B schools (however position open for candidates with the right experience and aptitude)

Role & Responsibility
- e2e responsibility for presales and business development activities to position Base))) BPM & Analytics in transformation focused BPO & SSC deals
- Extensive interface with clients, field sales and vertical functions to manage RFP driven process
- Proactive opportunity identification and generating new business and pipeline conversion (hunting role)
- Mining and follow-up for transformation deals with existing clients (farmer role)
- Generate proposals, deliver presentations, demos and proof of concept to showcase capability and transformation solution along with domain experts
- Responsible for facilitating and conducting client workshops, 1-1 interviews and discussions for transformation assessment and pre-contract due diligence
- Manage commercial negotiations with clients
- Primary focus would be US and Europe (80%) and would involve travel at short notice for client meetings, solution defense etc.

Soft Skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision; self driven
- Excellent command of both written & oral communications
- Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills
